CUTTING AREA
The Almanor Ranger District of the Lassen National Forest will be offering the Rattlewood Free Use Cutting Area on the 27N06 road in T27N, R4E, Section's 27, 28, 33 and 34. In order to gather or cut firewood in the Rattlewood Free Use Cutting Area the permittee will be required to obtain a free use permit at the Almanor Ranger District, at 900 East Hwy. 36, Chester, CA. 96020. The permittee must also have a valid personal or commercial fuelwood permit in possession while utilizing the free use permit. Interested parties may obtain more information at the Almanor Ranger District Office at 900 East Hwy. 36, Chester, CA 96020 or by phone at 530-258-2141.
