James Lyric Laughlin was born to Virginia Grourke and James Laughlin, of Meadow Valley, on Aug. 20, 2012, at 10:48 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. James weighed 6 pounds, 10.5 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Sherri and Stephen Lakin.
Paternal grandfather is Harry Laughlin.
James is also welcomed by siblings Kasey Grourke, 10, and Karson Grourke, 9.
Brynlee Ann Kingdon was born to Heidi and Jesse Kingdon, of Greenville, on Sept. 12, 2012, at 7:36 p.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Brynlee weighed 8 pounds, 7 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Debbie and Todd Lindner.
Paternal grandparents are Alicia and Bill Kingdon and Laura and Brad Ryness.
Great-grandparents are Esther and Mark Rilea, Sam Kingdon, Virginia and Loren Lindner, Bob Arbuckle, Mary and Howard Forester and Steve Dean.
Brynlee is also welcomed by sibling Bodie Kingdon, 2.
Mariah Lynn McGowan was born to Jessica Lynn Averill and Rudy Dane McGowan Jr., of Susanville, on Sept. 19, 2012, at 11:44 p.m. at Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville.
Mariah weighed 7.6 pounds and was 19 inches long.
Maternal grandmother is Deborah Lynn Averill, of Chester.
Paternal grandparents are Karen and Rudy McGowan Sr., of Susanville.
Maternal great-grandparents are Maxine and Robert Flower, of Chester.
Paternal great-grandparents are Norma and George Stampfli, of Susanville.
