Espi (Esperanza) Pauline Sanchez Garayoa was born to Kelly Garayoa Sanchez and Luis Sanchez of San Francisco Aug. 24, 2012, at 8:01 p.m. at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Espi weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19-3/4 inches in length.
Maternal grandparents are Tom and Jeanne Garayoa, of Redding (formerly of Quincy).
Paternal grandparents are Felipe and Nancy Sanchez of Woodbury, Minn.
Maternal great-grandparents are Bob and Pauline Masera, of Yuba City.
Paternal great-grandmother is Lydia Castillo, of Guatemala City, Guatemala.

Rylie Elaine McGarr was born to Melony and Tyler McGarr Sept. 8, at 5:58 a.m., at Renown hospital in Reno, Nev.
Rylie weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 17.5 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Karen Partlow and Ken and Kathy Smith, all of Sierra Valley.
Paternal grandparents are Ron and Kayna McGarr of Portola.
Great-grandparents are Ral and Susie Klundby and Leonard and Elaine Ross, all of Portola, Jim and Maylou Smith, of Sierra Valley, and Jerry and Maryanne Porter, of Auburn.
Rylie is also welcomed by sister Gracie, 2.
Adah Jane Washburn was born at home to Shawn and Taletha Washburn, of Quincy, Sept. 8, 2012, at 3:13 p.m.
Adah weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and was 20 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Larry and Kathryn McNeill of Quincy.
Paternal grandmother is Pam Washburn, also of Quincy.
Adah is also welcomed by sister Lilah, 6.
