DFG likely to appeal class ruling in pike lawsuit

For more than a year, the class action lawsuit of eastern county citizens and the city of Portola versus the California Department of Fish and Game over economic impacts of the Pike Eradication Project was out of public sight, until Judge Hilde’s ruling to certify the plaintiffs as a class a couple of weeks ago.

Greenville is proving ground for new radar device

Greenville is once again a proving ground for experiments with life-saving technologies that may be used in both humanitarian and military or homeland security applications.

This time, it wasn't an invention of renowned Greenville and Bay Area resident Bill Wattenburg, although he played a key role in bringing people together to make it happen.
