Good Vibrations to host Pam Trebes Nov. 19
Pam Trebes of Trebes Studios will host a champagne opening showcasing her latest artwork Saturday, Nov. 19, from 1 to 4 p.m. in Good Vibrations, 278 Main St. in Chester.
Her show “Doing the Dance on Deer Creek” will reveal her newest mixed-media creations and photography.

Indian Valley Hospital bids to be opened Friday
Indian Valley Health Care District directors will discuss and possibly take action on bids for the old hospital and billing office properties during a special meeting Friday, Nov. 18.

Whimsical jewelry featured at Mohawk Valley Artists’ Guild show
The longest running art show in Eastern Plumas County will make its welcome appearance on Thanksgiving weekend at the Graeagle Fire Hall.
The Mohawk Valley Artists’ Guild is hosting the second of two annual art and craft fairs Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25 – 26.

Woman attempts suicide on day jury reads guilty verdict
The day a jury convicted her of felony burglary, Nov. 2, Rebecca Victoria Loretz cut her wrists.
Loretz was still at a Reno hospital a week after trying to kill herself on the day she failed to appear in Plumas County Superior Court to hear the verdict.
